Who we are

During a period in ehich there was a lack of masks, we created Med Pack: a distributor of protective masks in Italy. Our partner factories, with whom we have been working for more than 10 years are going to diversify their production and create FFP1 3-layer “surgical” and FFP2 / KN95 type protective masks, as well as masks in fabric: cotton and composite.
This was our way of making a contribution at a difficult time for our country. We used our network and logistics platform to distribute the masks to businesses and people in need.

Small gesture Great importance

What you need to know about FFP2 Medpack

MEDPACK masks comply with a recent study published in Jama – The Journal of the American Medical Association – which compared the filtering capacity of different types of masks: cloth or surgical masks had a capacity to contain viral particles ranging from 26% to 79%, while Ffp2 masks had a filtering capacity of 98.4%. According to the researchers, if both the Sars Cov2-positive and uninfected person wear well-fitting Ffp2 masks, the maximum risk of infection after 20 minutes is just over one per thousand, even at a shorter distance. Even if personal protective equipment is worn incorrectly, the probability of infection increases to around 4%, although the risk is still much lower than with surgical masks.
